the one lost sheep...

/////////////////////////////

Renz Family Evangelism Update

/////////////////////////////

November 11, 2006

Today we went to the Rochester Public Market again to sow some seeds of the

Gospel to pass out tracts to merchants buying food and it was very busy as usual.

First we prayed and then with my sons; Josiah and Noah started passing out tracts

to people at the same place as last week… but for some strange reason, many people,

and I mean MANY people did not take any… It was like Satan said to everyone

before they came, “Hey, don’t take any gospel tracts from those people today!”

We had people actually hand them back to us and place them back in the pile of

tracts we were holding… I have never had this happen before, it was weird. I knew we were

in a spiritual battle and we were “fighting not against flesh and blood”, Ephesians 6

All three of us were very discouraged and started to head back and leave but

Something in me said, “No, just 5 more minutes before we have to leave,

People are going to Hell and Jesus died to save these people…”

So Noah and I went back to a different place and many more people started taking

tracts and then my son Noah gave an Intelligence Test tract to two men and we had

them read it out loud. Then… he asked me what it was…

I told him it was a gospel tract and the man said, “You are out here saving people from fire…

You are out here shopping for souls while we are out shopping for food… Don’t let anyone

discourage you or upset you for what you are doing. God’s Word does not return void, it

does what it will accomplish. All the angels rejoice over one, just ONE lost sheep that is saved.

We both stood there looking at the two men and thanked them for their encouragement. It was

as if God knew we needed the encouragement at that time! Isn’t God awesome? Of course

we would love to have everyone at the market saved… but God is looking for just one lost sheep!

Lastly, if you have not been to the movies in a while, I would encourage you to see:

It’s out right now and only for a short time!

Life is a vapor, Jesus is returning soon; make sure you are ready when He returns!

Please Pray for Us!!  Pass this email newsletter to your friend and pastor.

We would love for you to join us. Invite someone to church this week!

Go serve your King!
